We’re pleased to announce that, thanks to the collaborative efforts within the InPlaLabs project, the trial version of Urban Calculator is now openly available to download via their Virtual Knowledge Hub:

The trial version includes the Athens dataset and allows users to:
– Investigate centrality and density patterns
– Test new urban connections across the railway
– Evaluate areas with limited access to greenery

With this tool, users can analyse the spatial structure of Athens, test their design ideas, and see how data-driven analysis can support more sustainable and better-connected urban environments.

Please note that the current version runs on Windows only and will be available until the end of December 2025.

This release has been made possible through the InPlaLabs project, which bridges research, education, and professional practice in spatial analysis and planning.
